One of the leading private sector banks in Bangladesh is the AB Bank. It was known previously with the name Arab Bangladesh Bank. It was established way back in 1981 and was the first joint venture private bank in the country. The change of name was approved in 2007. AB Bank Balance Enquiry via Missed Call:
This facility is not available at the AB Bank. But the way they are improving their services will be soon added to their armory. In the meantime, you can use other services like the Internet Banking to check the account balance.
AB Bank Balance Enquiry via SMS:
To avail this service, you have to register your mobile number first with the bank account. For doing that, you have to visit your nearest AB Bank branch and fill up a form to register the number. After that, you can check your account balance via SMS. You have to type BAL_PIN and send it to 16207. You will get a reply SMS within seconds with information on your bank balance. You can also get the mini statement by typing STM_PIN and sending to the same number 16207.
