Application Process for Voter ID card in Kerala:
- Visit the official website of Chief Electoral Office of Kerala. You can visit there by clicking the link http://www.ceo.kerala.gov.in/.
- You will find three different processes of application there. Self, Through BLO, and Through Akshaya Kendra. The details on the processes are mentioned below.
Self-Application Process for Voter ID card in Kerala:
- Click on the ‘Self’ button and a form will appear on both English and Malayalam language.
- Fill it up with appropriate details.
- After clicking on proceed, you have to enter the voter id card number of your neighbor or relative.
- After submission, an account activation link will be sent to your email id. Click to activate the account and log in using your user id and password.
- Fill up the Form 6 there and upload the scanned copies of all required documents.
- Upon verification, your voter id card will be issued.
Booth Level Officer (BLO) Application Process for Voter ID card in Kerala:
- Select the option ‘Through BLO’.
- Now, you have to enter the BLO number of your booth officer.
- A form will open on your screen. You have to fill it up with all the appropriate details.
- Now in step 2, you have to enter the voter id card number of your neighbor or relative. Don’t forget to mention your relationship with them.
- After the submission of the form, another form will appear where you have to enter details like name, address, date of birth etc. and submit.
- Further process on document submission will be informed to you via email.
- After verification, your voter id card will be issued.
Application Process for Voter ID card in Kerala through Akshaya Centre:
- Enter the Akshaya center code and you will be redirected to the Akshaya center website. Log in using your id and password.
- Fill up the Form 6 there and upload the required documents.
- After verification, your voter id card will be issued.

- Proof of Age: Class 10 Certificate, Birth Certificate, PAN Card, Passport, Government Photo ID, Aadhaar Card, etc.
- Proof of Identity: PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Voter Id, Arms License, etc.
