To register for Bank of India Net Banking services, the customer first needs to ensure that the bank has all the updated details such as the name, mailing address, email ID, and mobile number in the database. These details, alongside the customer’s account number and debit card details, are important for various steps in registration, activation, and log in later on.
The customer must visit their home branch i.e. the branch where they maintain their account, and fill a form, and submit it to request registration for net banking services. The bank will mail the User ID, Login Password, and Transaction Password through registered post to the updated mailing address within 5-7 days.

Bank of India Net Banking Activate User ID
Once the Bank of India home branch sends the User ID, Login password, and Transaction password, the user can go to the login page of Bank of India net baking services, and log in using the credentials.
The login password and transaction password may come on different dates in different envelopes, so the user needs to wait once they both arrive and then log in.
After logging in for the first time, the system will prompt the user to change the password given by the bank and set a new, secure, personal password for further use.

To log in to Bank of India Net Banking portal-
1-Go to Bank of India home page at https://www.bankofindia.co.in/
2-Click on ‘Personal’ under the ‘Internet Banking’ heading on the right side of the home page
3-Take a look at the security tips on the net banking portal login page
4-Input the User ID and Password and enter the displayed captcha correctly to log in to the net banking personal account.
5-For added protection, the account holder may use the virtual keyboard that the bank recommends and is available on the same page.
6- For the most enhanced level of security, the user may download Star Token from the login page that will create a shortcut on the desktop. This is the specific Bank of India internet banking app for military-grade security for Bank of India net banking users. Once the user downloads and activates this Star Token app, they can log in and perform their net banking transactions in a secure isolated environment on their desktop/laptop. However, if the user does not wish to visit the branch and wants to regenerate or reset the password online, they must perform these steps:-
1-Go to Bank of India home page, click on ‘Personal’ under the ‘Internet Banking’ option -> https://bankofindia.co.in/
2-On reaching the login page, click on the ‘Forgot Password’ option.
3-Input the User ID and account number, and on the next page, enter the debit card details (debit card cum ATM card number, PIN, expiry date).
4-Finally, the system will send a unique OTP on the registered mobile number. Enter it correctly for verification and set a new password.
Bank of India Net Banking Unblock User ID
For unblocking of Bank of India Net Banking User ID, the account holder should visit their home branch and fill a form requesting the same. Or, they can write an email to [email protected] from their registered email ID or call customer care on 91-22-4091-9191 or 1800-220-229.
