The number is completely toll-free so you will not be charged for it.
SMS Process to Check Account Balance:
For checking the balance there is no SMS process as you can check it either by visiting the website or calling customer care. Though you can recharge your Tata Sky account with the SMS process. For that, you have to send an SMS, DTH_ Subscriber ID_ tatasky_ Amount_ Last 6 digits of your ICICI Bank Account Number and send it to 9222208888. Only the ICICI Bank customers can use the service so there is a negative point.
