The website of EPFO is adding yet another facility. You will be able to link your Aadhaar online with UAN through e-KYC using the bio metric credentials. This is yet another step towards the Digital India Campaign. The e-nomination facility has been also launched by the EPFO.
Now link Aadhaar with PF account via UMANG app?
At the Member Interface of the EPFO Unified Portal, you will get this facility. Anyone who is a member and has an activated Aadhaar-seeded UAN will be able to use this facility. The service is not associated with the employer. The nomination details must be given online and the member will have to sign the nomination digitally. For digitally signing the form, the Aadhaar based e-sign is used. EPFO will provide the e-sign for free to all the members. This function will be available soon on the UMANG app. The Unified Mobile Application or UMANG is a one stop app where you will be able to get all the government services access.
